Price lists of spare parts linked to the car

In addition to auto parts suppliers connecting to online stores via API, our platform also provides a trading tool such as a built-in product catalog.

We have already talked a lot about it in the news.

For those who have not yet gotten acquainted with our platform, let’s briefly say that Docpart allows you to create a full-fledged product catalog in which all products can be divided into categories, each of which is characterized by its own set of properties. Each product can contain pictures, text description, etc.

But for an online auto parts store, this would not be enough. Therefore, we also added such a function as linking each product to one or more cars, which provided very wide opportunities for customers to search for products:

• search by product name
• search by category followed by properties filtering
• search for products by article number
• selection of goods for cars

And all this is in one product catalog.

Previously, we have already shown how to load products into a catalog from price lists, as well as how to link products to a car using the built-in editor.

But, as always, we are continuously developing our platform and today we inform you that it is now possible to link products to a car immediately when loading a price list into this product catalog. Thus, we have combined two possibilities for filling this catalog at once, and the car can now be specified directly in the file. And at the file upload stage, the product will be associated with the car. Moreover, if the car specified in the file was not on the site before loading, it will be automatically created.
